## 1. Zero Server Data Collection

**Playlisto** is designed with a strict privacy-first architecture. We do not track you, collect personal analytics, run telemetry scripts, or use marketing tracking cookies.

## 2. Client-Side Local Storage

Your custom configurations are stored exclusively on your device:

- **localStorage:** Stores your active YouTube playlist ID, background preferences, and UI states.
- **IndexedDB:** Stores your uploaded background images locally so you can enjoy high-resolution wallpapers without transmitting image data over the network.

You can completely wipe all saved settings and media at any time by clicking **"Reset"** in the settings drawer or clearing your browser storage.

## 3. Third-Party Embeds (YouTube)

Playback is rendered via the YouTube IFrame API. When you interact with the player, YouTube may set cookies or collect usage information in accordance with [Google's Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy). Playlisto does not receive or store any of your YouTube or Google account credentials.
