Privacy Policy — Playlisto
How Playlisto protects your privacy through local-first client architecture with zero tracking and zero telemetry.
1. Zero Server Data Collection
Playlisto is designed with a strict privacy-first architecture. We do not track you, collect personal analytics, run telemetry scripts, or use marketing tracking cookies.
2. Client-Side Local Storage
Your custom configurations are stored exclusively on your device:
- localStorage: Stores your active YouTube playlist ID, background preferences, and UI states.
- IndexedDB: Stores your uploaded background images locally so you can enjoy high-resolution wallpapers without transmitting image data over the network.
You can completely wipe all saved settings and media at any time by clicking "Reset" in the settings drawer or clearing your browser storage.
3. Third-Party Embeds (YouTube)
Playback is rendered via the YouTube IFrame API. When you interact with the player, YouTube may set cookies or collect usage information in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. Playlisto does not receive or store any of your YouTube or Google account credentials.
